Perfect Palette TAG!!!

I wasn't tagged by anyone in specific but have seen this TAG going around YouTube, and thought I would do a post about it.

There seem to be different questions, but I will stick with the ones used by emilynoel83, amarixe, vintageortacky, and several other Beauty YouTuber’s.

Questions are as follows:

1.    Best Packing: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

I could have gone many ways with this category, but I’ve come to the conclusion that the Urban Decay Naked Palette has the sturdiest packaging and is one of the easiest palettes to keep clean. I also like that it comes with a full-size, dual-ended eye shadow brush.

2.    Best Color Pay-Off: Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trios

These have the best pigmentation of any drugstore eyeshadow. I don’t think there is a single miss in their entire collection. You can even apply without an eyeshadow base or primer. Definitely the biggest bang for your buck.

3.    Most Versatile: Urban Decay Naked Palette
My palette collection started with this darling. Like the Naked 2 palette it is adaptable to any look, whether it is a simple everyday look, or a glamorous smokey eye look.

4.    Best for Travelling: NYX Natural Palette

This palette is great for travelling and if you don’t plan on doing anything too dramatic and just want a simple day-to-day look. It replaces the need of eyeliner, as it comes with a matte brown shade. This shade can also be used for eyebrows, depending on your skin tone and hair color.

5.    Least Used: Toki Doki Love from London Palette

I got this palette for 50% off when Sephora was discontinuing Toki Doki. At the time I thought it was a good deal, but looking back I should have put my money towards another palette. This one sits at the back of a storage drawer, lonely and unused. I also find this palette bulky/awkward and large for the amount of shadows it holds.

6.    Best Color Names: MAC Eyeshadows

I know this isn’t a palette, but I think MAC comes up with some pretty cute and unique names for their individual eyeshadows. One of my favorite is woodwinked, which is in my everyday MAC quad at the moment.

7.    Biggest Regret: hard Candy Naturally Gorgeous Palette

This is probably one of my biggest regrets, which is not saying much since the palette was only about $6 US. I thought this was going to be a good dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, but I was so wrong. The shadows are super chalky, have very little pigmentation (even with a primer), and are all super shimmery. I love shimmery shades but you still need at least one matte colour to get a good look.

8.    Most Used, Most Loved, Desert Island

Most Used: Uraban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Although I already mentioned this as Best Packaging, it is also my most used palette. I love it, as I mentioned, because you can get so many looks, it is just a great all round palette.

Most Loved: MAC Eyeshadows

Although not a palette, I love MAC eyeshadows. There is pretty much a shade for everyone. They customizable, and I just LOVE them.

Dessert Island: Urabn Decay Naked Palette

Probably not much of a suprise, but I love my Naked Palette. I already take it with me everywhere I go, and this would be the palette I would want if I needed to look gorgeous on a dessert island, LOL!!!
